February Recap: A Month of Beauty, Weddings, and Family Fun

February was a whirlwind of beauty, weddings, and precious family moments! Kicking off the month, I had the pleasure of working on a stunning photoshoot with JC Jones Photography, guided by the creative eye of Abigail from Elm Studio. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, and it was an inspiring way to start February.

The wedding season is already in full swing here in Charleston, and I had the joy of working with a bridal party in Mt. Pleasant on a picture-perfect spring day. The soft, warm breeze and glowing sunlight made for a dreamy Charleston wedding setting. Later in the month, I had the honor of preparing a Brazilian bride for her intimate early morning private ceremony—made even more special because her groom is the son of a longtime salon client of mine. It was a full-circle moment filled with love and beauty.

Bridal trials are always one of my favorite parts of the process, and this month I had some truly breathtaking ones! I worked on trial runs for a March bride and a November bride, and let me tell you—their looks are absolutely stunning! I can’t wait to bring their wedding day visions to life.

Outside of the beauty world, I was in full Mom mode. My son and I took a mid-week outing to the South Carolina Aquarium, where we spent time admiring the turtles—his absolute favorite. We also continued our Music Together classes, embracing early childhood music and movement, and tried out The Little Gym after attending a birthday party at their Mt. Pleasant location. To top it off, we soaked up so many beautiful days at Charleston’s amazing parks.

We wrapped up the month with a cozy family dinner at Minero on John's Island, where we enjoyed a delicious meal on the porch and a little game of cornhole—such a fun and relaxing way to close out February.

Looking ahead, I am so excited for March! The official start of wedding season means even more stunning Charleston wedding moments, fresh spring bridal party styles, and all the trending wedding ideas for spring. Plus, with awards season in full force, I’ll be soaking up all the beauty and fashion inspiration coming our way. And of course, as temperatures warm up, I can’t wait for even more outdoor adventures with my family.
