There’s something about a Charleston summer wedding — the stillness of the air before an afternoon storm, the Spanish moss swaying just slightly, and the quiet joy that hums through the day. For Ramsey and Caleb, that essence came to life so beautifully at Magnolia Plantation, where their July celebration unfolded with laughter, grace, and a touch of Southern charm.
The morning began in a classic Cannonborough-Elliotborough rental, its sunlit rooms filled with the hum of excitement and the scent of fresh florals. Our team from Designory Beauty styled ten bridal party members for hair and six for makeup, creating looks that felt timeless yet soft — the kind of beauty that never tries too hard.
Ramsey’s bridal look embodied effortless elegance. Her makeup was delicate and neutral, enhancing her natural features with luminous, barely-there tones. Her hair — sleek through the front and cascading into soft, romantic curls — was the perfect balance of polish and ease. She radiated a quiet confidence that felt as graceful as it was genuine.
As the skies opened — in true Charleston fashion — the rain poured with a kind of poetic drama. Yet nothing could dampen the spirit of the day. This day was especially meaningful for our team. Ramsey’s mother was a longtime client of Rachel’s from her studio days in Clemson, SC — making this celebration feel like a full-circle moment, rich with connection and nostalgia.
